Since the beginning of this year I have a problem displaying images loaded from an https apache server in our intranet. The images were displayed correctly for years, but it stopped working now. The messages in question are HTML links with img-tags.
When I display the source code of the message I can enter the received link in a browser and see the image without trouble, so the images themselves are reachable.
Even IE displays everything correctly when clicking "View this message in Browser". Still the images do not download.
I see a box with a red square, a green circle and a blue triangle instead of the image. When I click the image, it turns into a white square with red X in the middle.
Since the images are very small 32x32 Pixels I cannot see if there is anything additional written next to the red X.
I have no idea what causes this problem. We updated the Apache to 2. I suspect either some interference with the updated apache or a recent Outlook update. The certificate for the server is self-signed and always was earlier without causing any trouble. This thread is locked.
